I am always striving to connect folks around my literal and proverbial dinner table to create magical moments of community. The reason I’m so drawn to food and it being one of my primary modes of creative expression is because food has this inexplicable way of bringing people together. That warm welcoming feeling you have when you walk into a home filled with the sweet aroma of something baking in the oven. That feeling you have when you’re gathered around a table of loved ones and you’re sharing just as many smiles and laughs as side dishes. When you think of all the ways that food connects us, it’s truly astonishing. And while my creativity surely spills over into other realms beyond just food, it is this spirit of community and coming together that is woven into all of my work. My door is always open, ALL are welcome, and I’m always ready to whip us up something tasty while we savor each other’s company and conversation!

Learn Some Culinary Magic
There’s nothing I love more than connecting with other humans! While teaching in person workshops is certainly one of my favorites, it always bummed me out that those workshops or courses I offered were only accessible to folks who lived locally. So I decided to start offering digital courses as a way of interacting with folks all over the globe with ease. From Ireland to LA, the beauty of these digital courses is that we can be on opposite ends of the globe and still connect!

My approach when it comes to cooking is the simpler the better. I’m all about making good food with minimal ingredients. I’ve found that food truly doesn’t need to be complicated to be delicious and memorable. I want everyone to feel confident in the kitchen and learn to trust themselves when it comes to cooking intuitively. I hope that the recipes I share serve as a jumping point for you to get inspired and harness your own magic in the kitchen!

I was born and raised in the beautiful Ojai Valley, surrounded by oak trees, mountains, and orange orchards. After living in Kansas City for a few years, it feels good to be back home and in my element. If you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods, I would love to connect!
